My thoughts on the U.S. Debt Crisis

Let us “share the pain”.
Raise everyone’s income tax by 1 percent.
Decrease everyone’s “entitlements” by 1 percent.

If necessary do it again next year .

If the Debt Ceiling is not raised………..

Servicemen and their families will not be paid.

Some Hospitals will shut down   (Medicare and Medicaid)

Some Rest Homes will shut down.

Federal parks will close.

Many people will be laid off.

Interest rates on Credit Cards, Car loans, Housing loans, etc will go up.
